I want to remove the following L-profile at the top there is floor (to a loft), below sheet metal. I can't reach the screw heads because the floor is in the way. I tried sawing off a screw and then drilling (from below), but couldn't remove it. I guess the screws are hardened in some way so that they can't be drilled away (?). Anyone have a good tip on how to remove this?

Can't you just cut off the angle instead of the screws?

Don't have such a saw... but can always borrow one. What kind of saw should be used?

Reciprocating saw with a metal blade, gone in 10 sec.

Thank you!

or a hacksaw

I've tried with a hacksaw, but it seems to be an endless task (and I have 4 L-brackets to remove)...

Or an angle grinder with a cutting disc, but keep in mind that it sparks, so be careful, possibly set up a wet blanket to minimize the shower of sparks.

Hardened assembly screw should be able to break off on the underside with the help of a polygrip (Motortång) and maybe then press in a morakniv to lift the little that is left from the screw from the sheet metal rule and just smack the angle bracket with the hammer.... Maybe....
