We are planning to build a short side wall for a sunroom. For the foundation wall (depth 150mm), we intended to use Leca blocks or aerated concrete. I understand that Leca is more durable and that aerated concrete has better insulation value. Which would you recommend?

For the veneer wall (both inside and outside) we will use half-stones (60mm deep) of classic red brick. Two questions:
1. How much overhang in relation to the foundation (cast slab) should there be?
2. Do you build the veneer wall flush with the foundation wall, or should there be an air gap between them?
See picture for better understanding.

We plan to get help with the veneer wall but will do the foundation wall ourselves and need answers to the above to determine how far in from the edge the foundation wall should be placed.
