I have tried to find an answer to my question without much success.

I am currently in the process of bricking up an old basement window that faces the garage. At the bottom, I have cast a concrete base to get a flat surface to build the Leca blocks on. After that, I laid 2 courses of Leca. It was really tricky to get these in place because, on the inside of the window, various water pipes and drain pipes run, and through the window also run radiator pipes to the garage. This made it difficult to get the Leca blocks in place. Now, about 4cm is missing at the top. Here's my question:

Can I fill the remaining 4cm with foam and then plaster over it? The natural answer would be to continue using pieces of Leca and mortar, but it is not accessible. Will plaster on foam hold? Does anyone have experience with this? Pros and cons?

Can't you pour repair concrete into, e.g., a piping bag (plastic bag with a cut-off corner) and squeeze in the mortar?

Not a bad idea, indeed! Thanks!
But I still think it might be a bit tricky to access.

It works perfectly well!
Of course, it doesn't achieve the same impact resistance as a harder surface, but that's not a problem in such a small area.
