Planning and Building a Deep Closet with Storage on Rails
I might have the world's worst patience, but after a week, I got a response from the other company that sold the same interior. I received a proposal without a price and he thought that a cabinet on rails wasn't good, rather he suggested that we should build on three walls. I was encouraged to give feedback on the proposal, which I did, and sent pictures of how the wardrobe looked. And since Wednesday, completely silent.
I know it hasn't been very long, but can't I even get a response that they'll continue designing?
Most other companies I've been in contact with usually get back within a few hours or the next day. Even if they haven't been able to answer the question directly, I've received a response that they'll get back to me.
I'm starting to be prepared to build it myself. I saved all the drawer slides on the dresser I threw out, so that saves about 1000 kronor in that case.
I just don't understand how I can build a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe in there because you won't be able to screw it from above or below, and I can't build it lying down because then I can't raise it.
If I were to assemble everything from the side, that wouldn't work either because there's an archway into the wardrobe and it won't fit in place.
Am I stupid for not coming up with a solution or what?

Now I have at least sat and drawn up my own proposal with Ikea's frames.
First, I have to build a base of MDF (what thickness?) and fill the space with drawers.
Two PAX 75 cm wide on either side of the wall leave a gap of 30 cm in the middle.
Considering filling this with such drawers if possible

I have to build in extra side walls so that the vacuum cleaner gets its own compartment and then put shelves in the space that remains to the right.
I have been looking for a foldable clothing rod to put in the right closet myself but don't know what load to go with.
I have found up to 12 kg. Sounds a bit flimsy for coats, doesn't it?
Otherwise, it will have to be an extra rod on the regular one for shorter coats.
What do you think?

May I ask where you bought your lamp on the 3-legged stand?
My partner wants one just like it!

In Åstorp there is Living Story. The old BOSSON or Vinkingland occasionally have sales so I bought it there before Christmas for 750 kr (to be honest, they charged me the wrong price at the checkout, so 600 kr) the wholesale price is 3000 kr according to the people working there but I don't know where else you can buy it.
I fell head over heels. Just need to find a place for it

Starting to approach shopping for materials for the wardrobes.
Considering MDF 19 or 16 mm.
There is also melamine-coated particle board.
What's recommended? Particle board doesn't need painting and comes in the right depth. Just needs to be cut to length, but at the same time, it probably holds up worse for nailing, drilling, and sawing, right?
