Not foam plastic on both the inside and outside.....

Regarding shelves to pull out... like drawers or similar perhaps... I'll see if I can find a picture......

Hi!
What do you mean?
If you think of bookshelves that you put on wheels, and then let the short side face out with a handle.

Aha but we are supposed to have jackets and such in there, how does that work then? The wardrobe is also not on the same level as the rest of the floor and there will be a rail at the bottom that Ikea's sliding doors will hang on.

AnneFi
really looks nice.
I like that there was a clothes rail that can be folded down, which offers the possibility to hang up to the ceiling maybe.

but it doesn't look so cheap.

How do you attach the plasterboard to the tretex? It's not exactly screw-friendly. There doesn't seem to be many studs behind it.

AnneFi
Okay. You can forget the last question. Tretex should be removed considering that a board is already down after a discussion between me and my partner.
I thought there was a wind barrier behind it and he said it was insulated.

There is a board? Against the wall but we don't know what it is.
Like a bag with something in it?
White thin threads and glass?

Any idea what I'm talking about?

AnneFi
Okay, here comes a picture of "the disc"

Any idea what it is?

A tip is to custom order sliding doors, like Pelly, (available for example at Cheapy or Bygghemma.se) and place them in the opening. That way, you get doors that fit exactly from floor to ceiling.

Gets very expensive.
I'm trying to stick to a budget renovation and IKEA's doors cost 1300 with tracks.

I've done some calculations and here's how it looks.
Feel free to chime in if I've calculated poorly :)
I think I've estimated high, so it's good if you notice any errors.

Drywall for two outer walls totaling 6.5 meters 1000 kr
Moldings and door frames 500 kr
Paint, spackle, and possibly wallpaper 2500 kr
Wood and studs for wardrobe and possibly if new framing is needed for drywall 600 kr
Floor 2000 kr
Sliding doors IKEA 1300 kr

7900 kr

I was hoping to manage on 10000 kr including wardrobe interior, but I don't think so.

still no one has any idea about the vindpapps insulation?
otherwise, I’ll have to put up a thread in the conservation section.

It looks like old glass wool insulation. It itches terribly and if you touch it, it gets very dusty too. I've torn away several square meters in my parents' home. It seems to have been a common additional insulation material in the past. Remove it if you want it gone, otherwise, it won't do any harm if it stays.

We plan to leave it there and just put up plasterboard in front. We feel it's unnecessary to tear it down when it's already in place.

Failed a bit with ULL considering that lumps of glass fell out :)

I have contacted gardelux.
Very affordable prices compared to what you have to pay at Ikea, however, they don't do jobs outside Gothenburg.

I haven't received a response after asking if it can be shipped for self-assembly.

I have tried to get in touch with another company with the same system closer to me but without success :/

Finally, I have received a response after contacting every single sales representative of the manufacturer in Sweden.

I will get a proposal tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be at a reasonable price.

Meanwhile, I've experienced a small setback in the economy. We've been a bit swindled by a financial management company. And money we thought we could withdraw in February is not available for another 20! Years. An expensive lesson learned there. Time to grit my teeth and start saving elsewhere.
