Outdoor plaster or?

I did not have any problems with the insulation. It's easy to stretch the fabric with nails. I can live with the fact that it doesn't hold up against the north wind—I have put wooden panels outside the wind fabric and that dampens some of the wind....

Found this thread, I'm just about to set up outdoor plasterboard when I hear that Skanska has completely stopped using it. The reason is that the plasterboard molds.
You should use "outdoor plasterboard extra" (which I have) and also tape all horizontal cut surfaces with some special tape.

Has anyone heard of this??

The taping is related to wind tightness. I have talked to Danogips about this and they felt that one could with a clear conscience disregard it. The difference in insulation value for the wall is minimal.

I find it hard to believe that outdoor gypsum molds once it's built into a functioning construction. Perhaps the regular outdoor gypsum molds in practice if it's not built in quickly enough and gets exposed to moisture, but now all manufacturers sell paraffin wax impregnated outdoor gypsum boards that can withstand a bit more moisture during construction time. That Skanska has difficulty getting the gypsum covered in time and therefore uses even more durable gypsum doesn't mean you need to if you manage your construction a bit better.

Isn't the outdoor plaster mold-resistant treated? There is a special plastic strip to put in the plaster joints.

Perhaps the standard exterior gypsum molds in practice if it is not built in quickly enough and exposed to moisture. That Skanska struggles to have the exterior gypsum covered in time so that they use even more durable gypsum doesn't mean you have to do the same if you manage your construction a little better.

My brother-in-law who is in the property business had heard it from someone at Skanska. Let's not paint the devil on the wall, but my walls will stand with only gypsum now for a few weeks. Should I try to cover with tarps? Seems like overkill. Just have to be careful if snowdrifts pile up at the bottom. I choose to believe it will be fine

How does it go with windbreak and insulation of loose fill? Does the insulation push out against the exterior paneling then?
