I thought I would share how the finished result turned out. My solution was to turn the cut side of the tile inward towards the next tile, as it is less noticeable that way. Then I made a 45-degree transition between the wall and the tile with putty, which was then painted in the same color as the wall. Overall, very satisfied with the result.

Close-up of a tiled wall corner with green paint, showing a 45-degree transition achieved with spackling, integrating tiles with the painted wall. White tiles with dark grout lines against a green painted wall, featuring a 45-degree transition with spackled edge blending into wall color. Tile wall with white rectangular tiles and a green wall above, forming a corner in a room with a countertop.
