Hello,
I have a cold storage that is built directly on the ground. The surface in the storage is gravel. The walls are pressure-treated wood, and the roof is made of metal with plastic on the underside. There are holes at the bottom between the base and the panel, and at the top between the wall and the roof.
All fabric/wood items get moldy there. However, the paneling is not moldy. Is there any way to prevent the items there from getting moldy? Note that I didn’t build this, and I'm just renting, so preferably no major projects. Regards, Banya203

No, there's no way to prevent that. The problem is that the humidity inside becomes the same as outside, which averages over 90% during late autumn/winter in Sweden. If it's cold and below freezing, no mold can grow, though. Unfortunately, there has been a lack of below-freezing temperatures in the southern half of Sweden this winter.
