I am going to install a ceiling in the garden shed that should be fire-rated. Which material should I choose? Would simple drywall or 22mm raw lumber work? Or OSB + simple drywall? The ceiling will be on cc30 strapping, and above that is plastic and then insulation.

Ei30 is enough.
Does it work with råspont instead of gypsum?
And does it work with only osb as inner walls, or is gypsum needed as well?

Are you aware that wood is combustible, right? Combustible material is not fire rated.

If you mix drywall and a wood material, does the drywall need to be the first visible layer from the inside to achieve EI30?

For aesthetic reasons, I would like to have a wood material as the visible layer if possible, of course.

It works. The plasterboards are meant to protect the load-bearing parts.

Do you have to meet any regulatory requirement or is there a specific function you want to achieve? Even wood resists fire for a period if you want to prevent the fire from getting through (EI classification). But then there are surface classes as well, and that's more challenging with wood.

Thank you for all the answers!
In the long run, it will be located a few meters from a future conservatory on the house, so I want to be on the safe side regarding fire classification.

If you are looking for the requirements for protection against fire spread between buildings, isn't it the exterior that should be fire-rated?
