We are about to build an Attefall house but have a small dilemma...

The house will be placed on a slope where we remove rock.
This means that the back side of the house will be about 80cm below ground level, while the front is at ground level, so more or less in a hillside.

We plan to build the walls as thin as possible... so the plan is to have 95+45mm studs/insulation (plus nail battens, paneling, OSB, and gypsum).

My question now is, can I build with wood below ground level?
-Would it work if I have a gap between the wall and the rock/ground and build in between with decking like "MickeK" has done (https://www.byggahus.se/forum/threads/mitt-projekt-attefallshus-med-loesvirke.256553/)?

-Would it otherwise work with wood and put a plinth board and then fill against it with gravel??

-I have considered building up the part that will be below ground with blocks, but I want no more than 125mm Leca blocks because otherwise, the wall becomes too thick. Does it work to build an exterior wall with such thin blocks? Can it even be done with 95mm blocks and then a steel frame on the inside?

-Any other suggestions and ideas?
