I would like to move two walls around my dormer. Is it possible to know if this is a relatively big job (whether they are load-bearing or not)? What I would like to do is move the wall circled in red 20-40 cm inward into the house to make more space for the bathroom that is in the dormer.

The wall is about 10 cm thick and has a door opening in it. The house was built in 1910 and the dormer was added in the 1930s (if that matters).

Blueprint showing a house with a red circle highlighting an interior wall; potential relocation for bathroom expansion discussed in post.

The other wall I would like to remove/open up is the wall from the dormer out under the house roof. Could this cause issues...? The door frame that is there is probably just decoration now since there is no door there I guess, or could it be supporting something?

Hello!

I have similar questions, did you ever get an answer on whether the walls were load-bearing and did you make any alterations?

Unfortunately not, I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Normally, there are supporting rafters (struts in the wall circled in red). When creating a dormer, it is done either between two rafters, making the dormer narrow, or parts of a rafter are removed and replaced by the rafters on either side, which are then reinforced (making the dormer wider).
