I have filled in a horizontal shaft in a room with EPS, and finally Weber Floor 4320 fiber-reinforced self-leveling compound. However, I was a bit cautious when filling the hole to avoid overfilling, resulting in a strip that is about 1 mm lower than the surrounding concrete floor.

What is the best way to fill this up? More self-leveling compound? Or is there a cement-based filler that can be mixed as a paste and applied more thickly?

Please share some product tips! (This is in a dry room and the area is about 2m2)

Of course, the easiest would be to continue with Floor 4320 since I have another bag available. But I'm unsure how to mix it in that case? Watery or "paste"?

Thanks in advance.

On Finja's website I found this instruction, it seems smart to overfill and then steel trowel, that should get you to the right level.

Thank you for all the answers! I will see if any weekend-open hardware store has something that resembles this.

What will you do next? Leave it as it is or some top coating.
If it's to be left as it is, I would choose something with a lined structure like the surroundings. If there should be something over it, I would continue with what you have at home in a slightly firmer mixture.

Eventually, I will lay parquet flooring everywhere. (Age-resistant plastic + Lump paper + parquet)

My plans changed today, so I haven't gone out to look for filler, so I'm leaning towards trying a slightly thicker mix of the self-leveling compound I already have at home. I'll let you know how it turns out! :)
