Problem, I need tips on how to elegantly support the outermost plank in the gate. Can't think of a really good solution :(
Wooden gate design problem showing an inward view between a wall and a raised area, highlighting a support issue with the outermost plank.

I'm considering a small crossbeam but it doesn't really create a beautiful finish.. :(

You're looking at the inside, to the right is a house wall and to the left is an elevation with an undrawn fence on the concrete...

All tips are interesting!

Maybe let the last plank sit in the post to the fence instead as you drew on the gate.

Consider which way you want the brace, pressed or pulled.

Interesting, I haven't thought about that... There might be some trouble with the skjutreglarna/hasparna I've chosen, but I can always buy something else...

An alternative is to "break off" the lower bärlinan and draw it upwards diagonally with the same angle as the snedslån... Illustration of a wooden gate with diagonal braces, adjacent to a concrete wall, showing a proposed modification in the design.
The sketch isn't the best, but it shows a little of what I had in mind.

Angle down the slanted crossbar and add an extra horizontal crossbar?

Or, instead of hiding the support, make it an attractive construction detail: Extra horizontal crossbar and two slanted crossbars forming a cross?
