how should I splice here?

I assume the right way is to split the board in the middle and take a larger piece from the next board so that it reaches all the way to the corner?

I would have moved the gypsum board out so it extends about 10 cm past the corner and spliced in a piece to the left.

edit: You mean so you can snap off the edge when you know how they meet in the corner?

Because the indentation in the board is about 6 cm and you don't want that in an outer corner if you are going to plaster it. This gives you a few cm to spare if the wall is slanted.

Okay. I bought this kind of edge to put in the corner. Does it matter if you want or don't want the recess?

What you should do is start with half a sheet, approximately from the corner, and then build to the left. This way, you get a whole sheet with an opening for the door hole, and the joint for the third sheet is properly placed directly above the door hole instead of in line with the hole as you have it now - that is usually something to avoid.

But I want the joints over the studs behind, right? As it is in the picture above, the joint ends up over the opening. Or like in picture A in the pdf document you linked.

What you should do is start with half a panel, approximately from the corner and then build to the left. That will create a full panel with a cutout for the door opening, and the joint for the third panel will be properly above the door opening instead of extending the opening as you have it now - that is usually avoided.
And would you like to elaborate on "approximately from the corner" :) Explain to me as if I were five years old :D

Ahh, what you don't see here is that I haven't yet cut out the hole for the door opening in this board because I was unsure of which solution I would use :)

You usually try to do as in picture A, the joint right over the hole. But yes, you should, of course, prioritize joining on studs where you have them. However, you have OSB behind here, so you can seam the plasterboard wherever you want—or rather, according to YBG, you should still join the plasterboard on studs even when you have OSB, but personally, I've completely ignored this and never had problems. However, I do make sure not to seam OSB and plasterboard in the same place.

Aha, I understand now!

But, there will be a slightly narrow piece left at the corner. It might still work out if you take a beveled edge from a sheet and then use a corner bracket in plastic or metal. If you then apply joint compound from the corner, nothing will show.

Otherwise, it’s probably easiest to remove a decimeter from the left edge of the sheet instead, so you get a wider piece at the corner. Whether you have a bevel or not at the corner when using corner brackets/profiles usually doesn't matter, you can always cover it up with joint compound...but YBG might give guidance on what is correct there too.
