Almost a year later: How did it go? I'm also pondering connecting at the top of a tiled stove, so tips and others' experiences are gratefully welcomed.
Hi! I've requested help from craftsmen but due to various other projects haven't gotten around to it yet... I'll be back in a year... haha

Traditionally, chimneys have been built from the ground/rock. Heavy pieces. Then, tiled stoves must be connected horizontally.

A tiled stove never carries the chimney above, but with modern modules, it can be above. But not on. That is, the chimney is supported by something other than the stove.

This allows for easy renovation of the stove, without the entire chimney collapsing.

The installer knows this.
Unfortunately, the installer doesn't want to do the job because "he rarely gets approval from those damn sotare" .. I've contacted another company that, after much back and forth, is willing to take on the remains from the first one. Sometimes, apparently, it's best to get more references when choosing a craftsman. :D
