Measured one cm from the wall on each side, then used a chalk line between these. This line, which runs along the longest wall, I was planning to follow. I will probably chalk a few lines during the installation to ensure it stays straight. But by following the line, I think it's fine if the boards don't fit 100% since I’m following the line.

On the room's short sides there's a one cm difference, but I believe it's negligible as it won't be visible with a one cm gap along a 6-meter wall.
If it fits with whole boards across and only a 1 cm gap on each side, then you're in luck and a big congratulations. 🙂🙂🙂 It's unusual for it to be like this, usually, there's about a 10 cm difference too long for whole boards. With 1 cm, the ceiling trim will take care of it and cover.

Learned a lot here in this thread, clips included! I had no idea, I thought it was normal to have to hammer together forcefully... maybe I was just lucky that it went so well with my nailed ceiling without panel clips. Perhaps partly an effect of how machine nails (T-nails) are designed; they have a tendency to dig in slightly, for example into the MDF board that is the base for Huntonit panels, and become "automatically countersunk" in that way.

Thanks for the excellent tips jonaserik, I'll take this with me into my next project!
