How to prevent the studs from showing through OSB and drywall?
Typically, the temperature behind a wall like the one Ts has built becomes lower. It becomes a new room with a very large proportion of exterior wall and no added heat. This can lead to higher relative humidity. With a bit of bad luck, condensation can form on a cold surface, for example.M Mjärn said:
It doesn't necessarily have to become an issue, but the risk increases. And if a problem arises, it is difficult to detect in time when the space cannot be inspected.
Now it's not really the wardrobes that the ventilation discussion was about, but the enclosed spaces on the sides (and possibly behind?) They are now - if I understand correctly - completely unventilated and at least in some cases directly against an outer wall.Mikael_L said:
I think there have been quite different things discussed, mixed up.
The post you quote, it says "walk in closet," meaning a separate but small room. There it might be worth considering the ventilation.
But for regular wardrobes, 60x60cm, or 60x80cm, you never arrange any ventilation.
It's enough that the door doesn't close hermetically.
