I was thinking of hanging up two old doors in front of the opening of the wood-burning oven in the basement. The doors are lightweight and made of wood and are intended to be removed when baking once a year. The hinge part on the doors, which are old, really only consists of a loop at the top and bottom on the long sides. So, some kind of round bar angles are needed that can be anchored in the plastered wall beside the opening. What is available, or how do you do it?
I may have misunderstood your description, but shouldn't you be able to insert two angle hooks on each side of the opening to hook the doors on since they had loops? If the baking oven is made of brick behind the plaster, just drill in with a hammer drill and insert a good quality plug (like an alligator) into which you then screw the angle hook. Since the weight was so low, it should work if you buy a thicker dimension of the hooks. These are the ones I mean:
