How do you best install crown molding against a slanted wall?
I don't want any molding on the slanted part, only against the ceiling.

I've thought of one of the options red, blue, or green in the attached image. Which is best? Or am I off track?

Where the green lines show, it is eased not to have any molding, instead a good fit between wallpaper and sloped ceiling.

why not have trim in the slanted ceiling as well? if you're going to have trim, you should have it around the entire room, otherwise, you can have a "snobbkant" on the wallpaper all around... joining the trims at the crease, leaving it like that looks a bit unfinished to me...

It depends on how you do it, you can put the wall end wallpaper first and then the slanted wallpaper much simpler and nicer than moldings. I've tried it, but tastes differ.

I made it very simple without a single gesture using molding around it, it doesn't look bad at all actually and I finished in about an hour with 2 rooms.

The problem is that the painter was a total hack and didn't wallpaper particularly well. I didn't really want any crown molding at all, but he hasn't given me a choice, since the wallpaper doesn't reach all the way up in all places (though it does on all sloped ceilings)...
So, to save the situation, I want to install crown molding. But I don't think putting molding on the sloped ceilings looks nice.

Oh well. Maybe I'll just use a 13 mm molding and forget about the aesthetics. We'll see.
