How much ventilation around built-in stove?

Good morning!

For those of you with a built-in fireplace, how many vent holes do you have around the fireplace? And do you have them both above and below the fireplace? What size vents are reasonable?

I have a corner model, so if you place both above and below on both sides (the mason suggested this), that would mean 4 grilles... It's quite a lot of work, quite a bit of money, and honestly, not very attractive with grilles everywhere...

Forgot to mention that there is incoming air connected.
So my extra grilles would be to get some circulation around the stove to move the hot air. Not to supply oxygen.
