How do I plaster the old roof trusses?
I am going to plaster the ceiling in what will be the bathroom. The roof trusses do not hold standard measurements, so there is about a meter between them. How is the best way to plaster such a ceiling?
Normally, the board is set in the same direction as the roof trusses so that you can screw into the edges. But it should be just as good to set them across the trusses? Nail longitudinal boards, for example, three rows per board, and screw the board? Do you also need to support the short side of the board?
The thing is, I need to build as little height as possible.
Grateful for help.

if you want to save height, you can place spars/battens between the rafters at cc300, then it doesn't add more than the drywall, i.e., 13mm. It is also suitable to use drywall panels that are end-beveled, as it makes everything much easier when it comes to plastering.

Ah, smart! How thick should the "glesen" be to provide the right stiffness? I've squeezed insulation between the beams, so I can't build too thick in between them.
I'm a bit worried about the plastering because I know it's difficult to get really nice. We're just going to plaster and then paint with waterproof paint. You don't want visible seams then.
