Hi,
I'm going to put drywall on a ceiling that I have lowered a few cm. What cc measurement is recommended? I interpreted the installation instructions as suggesting that 30 is appropriate, or is that unnecessarily close?

What is typically done with the beveled long side of the drywall panels that end up against a wall? Do you remove it to avoid applying joint compound or let it remain and apply compound? In previous ceilings, I've applied compound and it went well...

Hello! It is cc 300mm that applies, otherwise it can look "wavy". Whether you should cut away the side or not depends on how it fits in the ceiling, etc., it has no impact on the final result. It's easiest if you have the opportunity to do it, then you don't have to spackle so much :)

I cut away the phase on all boards that border new surfaces (i.e., ceiling or wall angle), if possible.
And the reason is to avoid the tedious spackling job in the corners.

Yes, and that's why it's also worth being extra careful with the cutting of the board.

What do you mean... ?

Isn't it enough to remove 50mm and shift the spacing... :blushing:

Of course, I was thinking that the old spacing would be reused. If you set a new one, it's as you say.

and isn't it true that if you space 300cc, you don't need to put kortlingar at the short end against the wall?

Yes, you probably should. However, it's easier to install a plåtvinkel! /F
