There will be a lot of digging if you follow Bygghemma’s fence guide

4. Prepare for fence posts

Measure and mark where the fence posts will be placed. For good stability, the recommended distance is 0.6 meters. Dig holes to then be able to cast concrete or set concrete pillars. Fill the hole with a layer of coarse gravel to minimize the risk of a crooked fence. To reach a frost-free depth and thereby extend the lifespan of the post, you need to dig to a depth of at least 1.2 meters. For those with loose ground, fence spikes that are driven into the soil are recommended. By doing thorough groundwork, your fence will withstand the various weather conditions for a very long time.

Sounds like a DIY guide on how to build a moat.

Typo?
The first 0.6m distance must surely refer to 0.6m depth.

Yes, that was my thought too. Mixed up distance and depth. But it would certainly be an interesting solution if you follow it to the letter… fence post every little over half a meter
