Hello!
I need to extend the wall in the picture by 5cm.
I'm a novice and don't know the best way.
Can I tie rebar to the existing iron sticking out + build a mold with plywood and just pour concrete into the form? It seems like it might be a bit narrow for the coarse concrete to fill out properly if so..
Any alternative better methods?
It's a pool wall and will be covered with liner.
Thanks in advance!

Don't think there's any point in adding more reinforcement if you're going to cast 5cm.
You could be a bit careful with large stones in the concrete, if you're mixing your own concrete from cement and ballast.
Should work well as you planned. Doesn't need to be formply, could be raw board or whatever you have at home. Tap the form with a hammer if you don't have a concrete vibrator.

If you're casting at 5cm, you should rather cut the rebars a bit so you get a covering layer of concrete. Covering layer under ground should preferably be 50mm.
But if I were in the same situation as you are now, I would cut the rebars so they stick out about 20mm and tie a vertical 10mm reinforcement bar to the protrusions.
Pre-water the surfaces you're casting against thoroughly so they don't absorb the water from the new casting, otherwise, you'll have adhesion problems. Make sure you don't have too large a maximum aggregate size...
