Electricity and water to the greenhouse, how?
I would like to have both 230V and water in the greenhouse.
230V will be used for lighting, and an outlet that can be used for garden tools and outdoor Christmas lights.
For water, there will be a Gardena irrigation computer (probably in the greenhouse) and an outlet for another hose.
Everything will go down a small cliff and under paving stones. I plan to lay both pipes very shallow so the water hose can be blown out in the winter to prevent freezing. Finally, I will drill through the concrete foundation of the garage and run both pipes up on the inside of the wall. Here, both electricity and water are already available. A total of 6-7 meters of pipe.
My questions:
1) Can I use PEM for both pipes, or do I need to buy a 50mm cable protection pipe for it to be approved? (the electrician will install the electricity afterward, is that okay?)
2) What dimensions should I have? PEM pipe as mentioned, 16mm for water and 32 for electricity?
3) If I attach a ~1M high pressure-treated plank in the corner of the greenhouse, is this okay for running the electricity up? (an IP44 socket with cover and a permanently installed fixture controlled separately with a Nexa built-in switch located in the garage)

Just bury the pem pipe, skip the conduit if you're going to drain it in the winter anyway. Lay down a 50mm pipe with a smooth inside (if you can choose) in the same trench. Pull in new pull string and pull in the cable yourself. The electrician can connect it for you. If you're unsure which cable to use, ask the electrician.

1) Certain types of cables can only be laid in the ground if they are placed in a pipe, while cables intended for ground installation can be laid without a protective pipe. Choose a cable for the ground, and you can skip the protective pipe. You should actually have a cable marking tape above it, so if you dig, you first pull up the tape, not the cable. 2) If you don't have a huge water intake and the pressure at the incoming position is sufficient, 16 or 20 mm PEM should be enough. However, it might be a bit tricky to "blow clear" such a pipe if there is a significant low point.
