Electrical conduit through foundation afterward?
Due to not thinking ahead at the time before the foundation, I am now considering the following. I don't have any extra conduit in the ground for potential lighting. I have two conduits to the garage, one for power supply and one for other things, perhaps telecom, data, who knows...
Since I don't want cables on the outside of the foundation on a newly built house (that shield in the form of a half-round plate)... I'm considering drilling straight down through the sill, through the foam, and taking out a conduit into the ground to some kind of junction pit. The foundation is slab-on-grade, with L-elements, 50mm foam insulation.
Would you like to help weigh the pros and cons of this idea...?

I guess you have embedded heating coils.
If you know you have embedded heating coils in the concrete slab - D O N O T drill into the concrete slab. If you drill through the heating coil and it is (most likely) water-borne... then you have big and expensive problems!
Instead, hide the electric cable in the gravel bed around the house.
A little pointer, so I can shine: You have 200 mm of foam in your slab and 50 mm foam edge beam cladding. So that even I got to be a stickler...

Well, what I mean is...
The sill consisting of 45x170 is on the edge beam, on the outside of the 170mm frame there is a horizontal 45x70.
The 45x70 is extended 1cm over the foundation. So almost the entire 45x70 is directly above the "edge beam cladding," i.e. directly above 50mm of cellular plastic.
If I were to drill straight down in the middle of the 45x70, I should come straight down through the cellular plastic and out under the foundation.
And in the cellular plastic, I have no underfloor heating coils

Yes, I was thinking of something like 20mm pipes, or maybe 32mm "guling"...
But what I'm also considering is whether there is some kind of reinforcement from the cover sides into the foam... but maybe it's just glued...

If you want to hide the cables, you can always run them under a staircase or a raised deck.
