Door frame in an oversized hole, tips?
Hello again,
Feels like I have two left hands now... But I was going to attempt to assemble the frame today, since I bought regular frame screws and not those deluxe screws, I've encountered a problem. And before I drill holes in the frame, I probably need help.
The frame is pre-drilled, first with a large hole and then a small one, but if you use frame screws, should you drill out the entire hole? Because the large end of the screw (the one you insert the tool into) doesn't fit completely into the frame... Which has resulted in one of the holes being a bit larger than the others.
I don't want to ruin the frame
and I want it to hold up because sooner or later there might be teenagers running around here slamming doors, it's happened to me before
