I have a budget model of "Hole in One" with two pins instead of magnets that you press through the disc, and in this model, cables are protected from the center drill. Why isn't it good?
I'm not stating that it's not good. I'm asking if the drill risks damaging the FK that lies in the box if you pull the cables before you plaster.wanegardh said:
Normally, with a hole saw, the hole saw itself is outside the box or at most hits the edge if you aim incorrectly. However, you have a centering drill in the middle which can damage the cables if it's not protected against such things. My cheap model covers the tip of the drill, so there's no risk there, but I'm considering buying a model with magnets instead. It's a pain to push points through plaster and aim in between and doing it on OSB boards is a nightmare.
