I have converted the part of the torpargrund with washed stone, styrofoam, and am working on the final touches before the concrete is to be placed. However, I am wondering what to consider with insulation against the existing exterior wall which is plastered brick.

I was thinking of placing a 30mm styrofoam against the exterior wall but I'm not sure how far up it should go; either all the way or stopping just below so that the concrete reaches evenly all the way to the wall. However, there's also the risk that the outer edge might crack.

Part of the space will be a bathroom with a floor drain that will be 10mm below the concrete surface, the reinforcement is already in place, so I need to create a form that sits on top of the reinforcement. Is it sufficient to then mix the concrete and place it on both sides/beneath a frame of wood so that it becomes tight and doesn't move during the casting around?
