The question is.
Can you use the underlayment foam with aluminum on a chipboard floor, or will it trap moisture?

Underneath, I have a crawl space, asphalt board, glass wool insulation, chipboard floor.

It says it will reduce cold, and that would be nice. But I don't know if it's just for concrete floors?

It's fine, I can't see any problems..
If you had underfloor heating with water-based systems, aging-resistant plastic would be placed underneath, so there are no issues..

Click flooring usually doesn't handle moisture from below well. Do you mean there is a risk of moisture from underneath?

Not likely, then the floor chipboard would swell and you would have bigger problems...

Yes. Or does that foam with aluminum on the backside breathe?

If you had waterborne underfloor heating, you would have put age-resistant plastic underneath, so there are no problems..
Otherwise, I also always have a bit of trouble with the underlayment when planning for the future. But it is without the aluminum backside.

Why do you need something that breathes?

Overthinking possibly, with the aluminum backside the idea is that it would be warmer floors. Since the question was that the foam is made for concrete floors, it says something about a moisture barrier in it.

No, foam is used in all contexts if you want a cushioning effect, so you can lay it and sleep peacefully tonight😉

Does it matter that (or if) it is a moisture barrier?
