This is how I made the desks for the boys, the countertop cut at 45 degrees and screwed/glued/plugged. For the sake of cleaning, it's nice not to have legs on the floor.

  • Wall-mounted wooden desk with a 45-degree cut, showing a cluttered surface with sunglasses and small items, no legs on the floor for easy cleaning.

I missed mentioning that part. I was thinking of a countertop that is 60-70cm deep
Keep in mind that 70 cm is on the small side when you're sitting against a wall. I'm 1.67m tall and have my desk against the wall. I often hit my feet on the wall when I'm sitting comfortably. My desk is 73 cm deep...
If you have a computer, you might want a bit more depth... My 27" monitor ends up quite close... I would like a larger screen to be able to run better resolution, but a larger screen won't work on my desk.

Smart solution.

Keep in mind that a bracket on the right side exerts a force away from the wall. With a weak wall, it might be better to skip the bracket and only have forces directed downward-upward.
