Ceiling that you can hang from?
2 pcs 18 mm = 36 not much to fasten in my opinion, it is probably trapetskrok you are thinking of using
Consider having 3 discs, then you are sure to get a good grip
Don't forget to pre-drill with about 2 mm smaller drill than the core diameter of the hook, then it will be incredibly secure

we had exactly the same problem, except the idea is for children hanging on rings, but it supports over 100 kg... first drilled a hole where I wanted the hook, then removed the loose fill in the attic, placed a cross brace between the rafters right above the hole (easier to do that than trying to hit the center...) now I installed an eye with a wood screw, but even better is a threaded rod that goes through the cross brace. holds nicely.
then the whole ceiling might flex a little, but it's no worse than walking on the rafters in the attic.

Hm, yes that's also an idea worth considering. With that method, you avoid laying boards over a larger area, and can place crossbeams exactly where needed. The downside is that my attic is very cramped, and it can be difficult to work there once the ceiling is finished. It's much easier now when it's open.B Boan said:we had exactly the same problem, but the idea is children hanging in rings, but it holds for over 100 kg... drilled a hole first where I wanted the hook, then removed the loose fill insulation in the attic, put a crossbeam between the rafters right above the hole (easier to do that than try to hit the middle ...) now I put an eye with wood screw, but even better is a threaded rod that goes through the crossbeam. holds nicely. then the whole ceiling might sag a bit, but that's no worse than you walking on the rafters in the attic.
Aha. But if it is open, insert a solid rule and reinforce it. If you want a larger surface, take a horizontal one and then a vertical one, the higher the better. Measure where, then it's just pre-drill and screw.
