I am planning to hang a sort of "cloud" from the ceiling in a room. Simply explained, it's a frame with the dimensions 100 x 200 x 13 cm built from 18mm MDF. It weighs about 20 kg. I am thinking of attaching it to the ceiling at 6 points, three on each side with a hook like this:

The weight per hook will then be about 3.33 kg. Then a chain down to the frame itself where I attach the chain with a metal piece like this:

I will first drill into the concrete ceiling, which may be a softer type of concrete. They are about 60 cm wide panels with reinforcement à la the 70s. Then I will insert plugs that I glue with PL-600 and then screw in the hook.

Now to my question. Will the construction fall on my head, or will it be securely fastened to the ceiling?

Are there better ways to attach it to the ceiling?

You can probably find a cheaper hook at Biltema or Clas O. It doesn't need to be stainless steel.
There are hooks/loops with threads and nuts; they look a bit nicer than a perforated plate.

The most important question is still unanswered. Will it hold or will it fall down?

That sounds like it will fit. How long were you thinking for the plugs?

Yes, maybe 5-6cm

If the hook is made of 4-5 mm wire and uses a red Thorsmans plug that is 38 mm long and it's concrete, it should hold when you hang on the hook.
If it's lightweight concrete/Siporex, then I don't know.
