Hi
I live in a wooden house built in '91. The house is constructed from prefabricated wooden sections that have been joined together. We have discovered that the outer gable at our attached garage is leaning outward in the middle. I discovered this about a year ago and secured the wall with tie-down straps and a beam, but need to come up with a permanent solution. With the tie-down strap, I was able to force the wall back about 1 cm until the ceiling drywall met the outer wall.

I have opened up the wall but cannot see anything wrong or broken; everything looks fine. However, I'm wondering what is preventing the wall from moving outward since the only thing holding the sections together is the nails between them; there isn't a beam on top binding them, nor is there anything binding the gable in the middle with the rest of the house. I estimate that it leans about 4-5 cm.

How should I best go about fixing this?

I am attaching 2 photos; one picture shows the drawing of how it should be constructed. What I see missing is the beam that should be on the top, marked "Regel 35x95, 311800."
Blueprint showing garage and wall construction with missing beam, labeled "Regel 35x95, 311800," and sections identified such as sealing list and plank.

The second picture shows the joint between 2 blocks from the attic. The impregnated beam visible at the top, I have added to prevent worsening. Here you can see there is nothing binding the blocks together or preventing them from moving outward. You can also see the sparse spacing and the ceiling drywall and the last roof truss in the picture.

You can try to strive to lift the gable to the correct position and anchor it with perhaps larger angle brackets that fasten the beams and go past some roof trusses. Or you can anchor with diagonal mounting to the top of the long walls at about halfway if you can reach.
