Hey!
I'm planning to build a small hobby room in our basement. The idea is for it to be cheap and functional and preferably not mold.

My plan so far is to run metal studs along the floor placed on spacers a few cm from the floor. Then attach wooden studs from these to the ceiling, etc. On the outside of this, I thought of using regular drywall. The wall closest to the outer wall I thought to build about a dm from the outer wall so that air can circulate there. I thought to leave the stone floor as it is. Then I thought to install a cheap fan that ventilates air from the room to the rest of the basement. Everything doesn't feel so optimal, so I'm wondering what I can do better without the cost increasing by several thousand. Moisture-resistant drywall costs 400 bucks a sheet, so that's not an option.
In the gap under the studs by the floor, I thought to put in insulation or something so that cold air doesn't get in. This feels like the most unprofessional part of all. Is there a more serious way (cheap)?

How important is everything with inorganic materials and vice versa? The ceiling is just untreated wood.

Grateful for tips and ideas!

Isn't it possible to just paint the wall instead?
