We have bought a townhouse built in the 80s. The staircase is the typical 80s model... you can see through each step. We would like to enclose it so it becomes more "old-fashioned", and are thinking of painting it antique white. Does anyone have some good tips on how we should do it? And what material we should use? There is a vinyl flooring on the steps, I'm a bit concerned whether the paint will stick. The staircase turns to the right. /anniz
