hello
I am going to build a deck but have some problems with the height because of the roof. The height to the deck can be 220 cm on the longer side and on the other end (lower side) it can be 210 cm if I go with a 2 percent slope. The deck would be 5 meters long and 3.70 meters wide and I don't want wooden posts in the middle. Or two wooden posts sideways. The snow zone is Örebro 2.5. What suggestions do you have? Thank you so much for the help.

Isn't it a sunroom you're going to build?ashkan1361 said:

It's rare to have a 2% slope on a deck floor.
yes actually a conservatory and the one I had talked about is for the conservatory roof.
Then you must consider the overall picture.ashkan1361 said:
2 degrees for a conservatory roof is incorrect. It should be at least 4 degrees.
Start drawing the roof, and then you'll see what's required for the rest.
You probably have a patio door that needs to open without hitting the roof beams.
Finally, you'll get the heights for the floor.
Yes, I built a conservatory and a new deck last spring, and it was tight.
I have 2 cm clearance for the patio door and the roof beams.
Everything is dimensioned for a snow load factor of 2.
I promise I calculated, measured, and double-checked many times.
There are those who have had to make ugly notches in the roof beams when the patio door hits them.
thank you so much. I will redraw it again and think about the door as well. thank you
