Hello,

I rented a machine to sand off plastic paint on the basement walls. This resulted in quite a few "scars" that I would like to style. Has anyone encountered the same problem? Is there plaster that can be applied very thinly? Wide putty doesn't feel right as I don't think it breathes well enough.

Rough basement wall with visible sanding marks and pipes; question about suitable thin plaster for wall repair after removing plastic paint.

Grateful for help

Render Weber Base B 133 has a maximum layer thickness of 5mm, might work depending on what you have today.

Thanks for the tip! The render is from 57 so not sure what it is. What I knocked down I replaced with Weber Dry Renovation which should be good in basements, hope it works with the other.

You should use Weber 135 or equivalent. It is a pure KC-bruk with small ballast.
