Hello there!

I've removed part of a wall in an apartment, and now I have a trench about 10cmx10cmx260cm in the floor where the wall used to be. Now this trench needs to be filled, and according to Bauhaus, a bag of self-leveling compound should have been enough. It wasn't, not even close... Unfortunately, things moved quickly, and I added a bag of fine concrete before fully considering the curing time... Additional self-leveling compound will be needed on top of the fine concrete layer, and now I'm wondering how long I need to wait.

I'm just planning to lay a click flooring on top, but the click flooring will end up on top of the trench. In other words, it doesn't matter to me if small cracks form in the floor underneath, as long as it doesn't crumble and the floor starts to give way. So how long should I wait before I can apply the final layer of self-leveling compound to bring it up to the level of the rest of the concrete floor?
I should also mention that I've "reinforced" the initial self-leveling compound and then the fine concrete with a few layers of chicken wire for extra strength.

Thanks!

The drying time is usually about 1 month.

Strange advice from the seller, just a quick rough calculation shows that it's not even close to being enough - just like you said.

But you had a sack of self-leveling compound that was allowed to set?
Then a sack of fine concrete that has now also set for a little while?

These are such small areas we're talking about here, and the largest shrinkage occurs in the first few days. Give it 5-6 days from when you put in the fine concrete, and you'll really be on the safe side.
But you will most likely not have any problems if you do the final filling already the day after either.

Exactly, a bag of leveling compound and then the fine concrete.

Yes, that's kind of what I felt, that it shouldn't really affect anything long-term. I'll probably still wait a little over a week.

Just go with the flow. Just fine before.

Primed, reinforced with chicken wire and float-leveled in two rounds (primed again before the second round) and so far I can't see any cracking or the like!
