Low pressure switch (LP) alarm on IVT greenling HT plus E7
Hi,
I am in need for support to understand the following. For some time we have been getting Low pressure switch (LP) and followed by HTF out under limit T11 (GT11). I usually aknowledge the alarm as soon as i see it. Today, same thing happened but I am seeing something odd
The alarm (LP) happened at 16:40 then followed by GT11 at 16:43. However, I don't see the "Aknowledge" button, but I see the regular panel intro and when I press on Info I get that the heatingpump will start in 3600 sec. But this has been like that for almost an hour. I tried to restart the heating pump using 5.6 but nothing changed though I asked for the pump to restart in 20 sec. Any help here?
Is there a way to force the pump to start again?
Appreciate your support

This alarm keeps coming all the time, it's been a long history since last year and Revider has been at our place several times without success to fix.. I lost hope with them.. but how to check if the brine circulation pump is working or not? Which one is that? I had another look at the time elapsing for the heating pump to start again, it seems it is stuck.
Brine pump is located to the right and you can force start it from 5.6 to check functionallity. Named P3 IIRC.
You can remove the center plug on the pump to see if it’s turning when activated from 5.6.

Also check out this thread. If the brine pump runs when forced you can change the setting for it to always run to see if that address your issue.
Normally it’s set to run only when the compressor is running. https://www.varmepumpsforum.com/vpforum/index.php?topic=61264.0

I have tried with 5.6 several times now, but I am not getting any response. I unscrewed the center plug (got few drops falling down) and I tried with 5.6 but I got no response. There is in section 5.3 (Manual operation of all functions) a description to test manually. I tried to use while having the plug unscrewed and I got a question asking if I want to restart the HTF pump (köldbärarpump), so I did. I see the inner rotor (screw) running and I hear a humming voice.. see the video. as soon as I exit 5.3, it goes back as it was.. nothing new. It doesn't help that I am newbie in heating systems.. it is seems that currently we are running on additional heating, I don't hear the compressor working at all..
The brine pump must spin when compressor is working, or brine will get too cold and computer will shut it down with error and start resistive emergency heating.
To troubleshoot, turn on brine pump to continious operation and reset errors/recycle the power switch to get it to start operating.
P.S. Make sure you have brine topped up

Go to 5.11 and change the setting to P3 kont. drift.
This is just for testing and should not be kept that way. This way the pump will be on regardless if the compressor is running or not. Then do a Norwegian reset of the pump which is to kill the electricity to the whole system. Let it be off for at least 30secs and turn it back on. After restoring the electricity you can change the startup time to 20secs again.

Well the brine (ethanol) was recently topped up in June (06/2022) in addition to some maintenance for pressure settings. They also changed the circulation pump. A year before, the three way valve (växelventil) was changed.
my gut feeling says the system is shutdown in a way and it is not able to come up again. The timer that looks to get the heating pump to start again is jammed at 3600 sec and I am not able to release it. I am wondering if there is another way for Hard restart of the whole system? is that recommended?

I didn't notice this one from you. I will try it now and see how it goes.j.f.s skrev:

I think that the timer resets whenever there are incorrect information coming to to the logic board.
Next thing to check is the view glass on the bottom of the heat pump. It’s small and has the text Wet and Dry on it. Force run the compressor and watch the glass. There should be bubbles for a few seconds and then clear up.

I did the steps before and it helped out to restart the heating pump. it is working as before but the alarm came back again early morning around 2 am. Anyhow, I acknowledged it and now the compressor is running.
I checked the view glass, there are bubbles going on all the time while the compressor is going.
Another thing I noticed over the few days that I was following up this issue, the LP alarm comes in after the Now temp reaches the Off temp (GT1). I can't be very precise to the second on that, but that's what I noticed. After that in few minutes, the alarm HTF out under limit T11 (köödbärare ut min - GT11) shows as well. Unless I acknowledge the alarm, the compressor is down and heating works on additional heat (Elpatron).
This morning I had these readings:
GT1: 31.7 Now: 31.1
GT2: 1.8
GT3: BörvÖ 44.9, Nu: 44.7
GT6: 67.3
GT8: 39.3
GT9: 32.1
GT10: 3.1
GT11: -0.2
after some time, changed to:
GT1: till 26,7 Nu: 31,7 (so it reached the stop temp). why would it change to 26.7?
however, due to hot water need this morning, when I pressed the Info button, the display changed to show hotter settings. See attached photo
