Hi everyone. Apologies for the English but would take me a year to write in Swedish. I have a Nibe fighter 310P and need some advice. Any tips on how I can reduce the electricity intake it uses. As of now we are using the fireplace as much as we can to heat the house so would like if possible to reduce the amount of electricity the Nibe uses. Not to turn the heat off completely but do something to hopefully
reduce electricity bill costs. Someone has told me you can do something that alters when the pumps main electricity kicks in to
heat the house if its too cold outside but I don't where to start. Thanks in advance guys.

Push the "Kanal" Button on the frontpanel until the "Elpatron" sign (a small lightingrod) in the panel dissapears. It will now only make heat with the compressor. Wait and see how low it can manage to hold the indoortemp. Tell your wife you dont have any money, you cant pull hair from a bald man...If she is still with you in spring, you know you have a keeper

Push the left of the pairbuttons, the upper diod should turn off. Thats a newer model than the ones I used to fiddle with, but it should be same. Consult your usermanual if it doesnt work.
Thanks. Did this a week ago after a chat with Nibe but my house turned into an igloo

Can you hear the humming from the compressor, when it runs? If not, not so good.
The compressor in these are really small. They can keep a fairly newly built house of about 60 sqm at 20c indoor temp down to 0c outdoortemp. Ive had a few of those and its from the tenants experience.
If it runs, just get an air to air heatpump.
