A question regarding wind deflectors. Should you fold the wind deflector over the wind protection board on the wall, or is it enough to build it edge to edge and seal as best as possible? For example, is Paroc's corrugated cardboard model designed in such a way that it can be folded over and stapled in place? I've been searching around on this topic but haven't found much. It seems that the majority here haven't been too impressed with Paroc's paper model. I think the best would be to fold over about 10 cm to avoid potential draft holes later. How have those of you who DIY with, for example, masonite done it?

Paroc's corrugated cardboard sheets are pure rubbish, avoid them.
I have built my wind deflectors out of board, resting on the wind protection sheet. They extend out about a decimeter, so any water runs off outside the wall.
It doesn't need to be 100% sealed. In most cases, I think it has become sufficiently sealed as it is. If on some occasion visible gaps have appeared, I have stapled a strip of wind paper there.
