I am tearing down the column base cladding and many of the boards have been asbestos. However, there are some other boards that I can't determine if they are asbestos or not. Does anyone know what it is?

  • Close-up of a damaged concrete surface with fibrous material possibly containing asbestos.
  • Close-up of a partially torn, white textured sheet with fibrous edges, possibly asbestos, placed on a pebble and concrete surface outdoors.
  • Close-up of a rough, textured board with red markings on loose soil, being inspected for potential asbestos content in a construction project.
I guess not but have treated it as such except that this one split because otherwise it wouldn't have worked. Using disposable overalls and face masks. Wrapping and taping in :)

Hmm, maybe fiberglass?

Yes, probably.. found some pictures with the text "Baseboard of fiberglass-reinforced polymer composite board with a surface of crushed natural stone." Seems likely :) thanks
