Hello!

I'm planning to install Moelvens renovation ceiling "Regina". The installation instructions state that the panels should be screwed and glued.

I will be mounting against an existing ceiling made of untreated wood.

What adhesive is recommended?

I was thinking of PL400 myself. But what does the forum say?

Directly against the existing wooden ceiling, it needs to be so even/flat for it to work; it cannot be uneven, as the boards might warp and it will be noticeable. Similarly, in the joints, they must not be completely flat underneath. The board can break when the screw is placed in the tongue. A support batten that is aligned to make it even/flat is preferred.
There are boards on the ceiling, but nothing glued; using glue seems a bit excessive and messy. Just place screws a bit closer together.
How big is the room?

The room is 15 m2. Unfortunately, it's difficult to batten. There is a kakelugn that makes it practically impossible to lower the ceiling.

Answering myself here for everyone wondering the same thing. PL400 worked well. Don't use 4.0 screws as they recommend, instead use 3.0x30.

I still had OSB underneath to even it out. Probably a good decision.

The joints are not completely invisible, but I think it's completely fine.
