Hello everyone,

I'm planning to build a tight gate for a fence/hedge in two leaves, each 1000x1800.

It's intended to be built with 95 wide overlapping panel over a Z-frame. With regular 21 or 22 mm panel, it gets a bit heavy, so I'm thinking to go down to 17x95 for the covering boards and use regular timber for the Z-frame. But I can't find 17x95 anywhere?

Have I imagined this as a standard dimension?

I live in Trelleborg, so if any southern Skåne residents have seen a timber yard that carries it, I'd be deeply grateful for tips. Or if anyone has any other good suggestions on how to proceed. Planed in a thin dimension is not an option due to the price.

Thanks a lot!

It is probably available at every hardware store.
Here is Byggmax
17x95 raw wood plank from Byggmax, priced at 5.45 per meter, available for purchase with delivery options shown.

Otherwise, the building supply store can probably order it for you, alternatively plane it down.

Woody can probably fix it, I haven't gone to Optimera in several years.

Panel and råspont are unfortunately not quite the same thing.

Of course, I can check if it's possible to order, the risk is that one might need to order a pallet...

There are hardly any real lumberyards anymore. Maybe I'll have to go to Teckomatop and scout...

Just realized how unclear I was. What I'm looking for is an unjointed panel board, like raw plank/cladding board, as it is known by many names.
