I'm desperately trying to find someone who has Gyproc Planum (or equivalent gypsum boards with recess all around) in stock. But so far, I haven't even found a store that knows what I'm talking about.

Anyone have tips on where I should turn?

Call Gyoroc and ask?

Bauhaus in Botkyrka is supposed to have 67 in stock at the price of 199kr each (13*900*2400)

A regular board, same size and same manufacturer, costs 67kr.

I should probably have mentioned that I've already spoken with Gyproc. They suggested I check with Bejiers store, but they don't have Planum.

Bauhaus was the first I checked with. Unfortunately, the 67 they were supposed to have in Botkyrka is an inventory error, so they don't have any in stock either.

It feels a bit frustrating to have to pay a breaking cost and extra shipping to get a 30m2 delivered, but that's probably what it comes down to. :(

I would say that the fact that, for example, Fredells does not have these boards in stock, and the large price difference, means that no one is using these boards to any great extent. They then use regular boards and chamfer the edges themselves...

Yes, that price difference is not to be taken lightly... I understand that not many people pick up those records...

It's a bit self-fulfilling as well. The less it sells, the smaller the volumes produced, and the more expensive it becomes...

Of course it is... But Gyproc is probably shooting itself in the foot by setting such a high price from the start...
