I was at a house viewing today trying to find out which type of lightweight concrete it was. I don't want any blåbetong. The realtor was terrible and didn't seem to have control over their paperwork, but according to a Bror Duktig who was also interested, it was obviously blåbetong. Siporex supposedly didn't exist in 1958 when the house was built. Surely that's nonsense? The technique with lightweight concrete is much older than that, and Siporex was around as early as Blåbetong/Ytong, wasn't it?

Hi
I have an lbtg-house built in 1951-52. Built with Siporex from Gävle. I even have the invoices where it clearly states Siporex delivered from Gävle to Nälden. I have also done a radon measurement (long-term) and have an average value of 33 bec etc.
I assume that's what you want to check in the house you are looking at.
So if you're lucky, you have such Siporex. / LOB

Ok, thanks! I thought so. The house I looked at today was crap, but I got stuck on the conversation about siporex and that it wouldn't have existed then.

The only requirement I have when looking for a house now is that it should accommodate a two-child family and not have blåbetong.
