Hello
We are going to divide a garage so part of it becomes a teen room.
The remaining part of the garage will not be heated. The section consists of the garage door and a few meters in where the new interior wall will be built.

I have a number of OSB boards that I was thinking of using to cover both sides and then, of course, insulation inside the wall.

First question, how thick should the studs be in such a wall? It is an interior wall, but it is against a rather cold space.

Next question.
Should I reconsider and use drywall instead of the OSB boards I have?
I assume drywall has significantly better insulation value?

You should also check which fire protection regulations apply if the remaining part of the garage will continue to function as a garage.
