Hello!

I will eventually start renovating our outbuilding. Half of the building is concrete and half is wood. The old part (which is probably quite old) is covered on the inside with this material. The surface is very rough. I was thinking of tearing it down, but I want to know what it is and if it could be dangerous to demolish.

Best regards,

Peter

  • A close-up of a textured, rough surface material on a wall, possibly used in an old wooden building for interior covering.
  • Close-up of rough, tangled material with fibrous texture on a wall, possibly an old insulating or construction material.
Looks like cement-bound reed. Nothing dangerous in that case.

Thanks! I'll start tearing it down and we'll see... :)

Best regards

Peter

träulit might be it too. Cement-bonded wood chips.
