Hello!

Moved into a fairly new co-op. We had a bit of flooding now. I'm wondering about the material in the picture, it looks a bit like masonite. The material is also at the bottom of the outside walls, so it should be very rain-resistant. Can someone give me info on what material it is and its moisture resistance?

  • Wet fiberboard panels with screws, resembling masonite, on an exterior wall. Used in a new household, being questioned for water resistance.
  • Wall with fiberboard paneling showing water stains and a concrete floor, indicating a recent flood, seeking advice on material and moisture resistance.
  • Close-up of a gray fibreboard or particleboard wall panel with two visible screws, possibly used for waterproofing.
Looks like Cembrit or another equivalent cement-based board. The screws are stainless steel and look like Cembrit's own.

Thank you, seems to match. Good in that case.
